Happy Hump Day babes!! I cannot believe Thanksgiving is tomorrow ya’ll! I am so excited to spend time with family, be thankful (lots to be thankful about this year!) , and devour some amazing food! Also with Thanksgiving comes all the amazing sales! Shopbop kicked their amazing sale off early with their yearly tired sale! This sale is my favorite because I always score designer items at amazing deals! Also, it is great to stock up on all your winter wear like this to die for fur leopard coat! If I lived somewhere cold this would be in my closet ASAP! Also these Stuart Weitzman boots I have been lusting over forever are not only on sale, but they are sale on sale! What?! Happy Monday loves! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend! I cannot believe Thanksgiving is this week ya’ll! Was it me or did it sneak up on you too! I can’t believe the holidays are officially here already! I am sooooo ready for Christmas time so I put up all of our decor this weekend except for our tree. Something about the house looking festive just puts me in the best mood ever! So for today’s look I took one of my older Free People tunic/dresses and made it into the perfect maternity top! I styled this awhile back as a dress (I am only 5’4) and I just love how it looks as a high low top! I paired it with some distressed jeans and the cutest suede studded booties! I have been living in these booties lately! They go with everything and are so comfy! I finished this look with my new wool hat from Tenth Street Hats and sunnies. Aventura Hotel Staycation

Shannon Jenkins of Upbeat Soles does a Universal Aventura Hotel Review and talks about what to do at City Walk Orlando and all the restaurants and shops

Happy Thursday babes! I am trying to play catch up since getting back super late the other night from our vacation! Although it definitely feels good to get back into the swing of things! Today I wanted to recap the amazing staycation Griffin and I had at Universal Orlando’s Aventura Hotel! The hotel just opened in August so everything is gorgeous and brand spankin’ new! We checked in on a Sunday and went up to our room with the most amazing view of Volcano Bay! I just love the large windows they have in every room! After that we went and explored all the amazing amenities like, the Starbucks down stairs, the food hall that has everything from breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, and the gorgeous pool area! After that we went and freshened up and went up to the gorgeous rooftop bar, Bar 17 Bistro. The rooftop bar has the most amazing views and we got to enjoy the gorgeous sunset while sipping mocktails before heading off to dinner. What I loved the most about our stay was the free shuttle to City Walk that comes every few minutes! City Walk is right before the entrance to both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure that is lined with shops, awesome restaurants, putt putt, and a movie theater, so there is definitely a ton to do in the area! The first night we did dinner at The Cowfish Sushi & Burger bar (yum!) and then headed to a movie.

Happy Friday Eve babes! Also today is my birthday!! I am the big 3-1! I still can’t believe I am in my 30’s but hey it’s been pretty damn good to me so far! It is also my 5 year blog anniversary! I cannot believe I have been blogging for 5 years, ya’ll! I have met so many amazing people through this little space and it has now become a job I love and don’t know what I would do without! Starting Upbeat Soles was definitely was one of the best decisions I have made! I also can’t go without giving credit to my amazing husband, Griffin! I could not have not started Upbeat Soles without him! He has taken every picture, been there for my melt downs, helped with creative ideas, he’s seriously so amazing! Cheers to 5 more years!

We had a great first day in Colorado and I cannot wait to go up to Steamboat Springs for a few days! Ps you’re not going crazy I had this post up for a few hours last week, but screwed up my editorial calendar and had to bump it to today. Get it bump it! ;) Anywho! This date night look is from our staycation at the Aventura Hotel at Universal. We hit up City Walk and went to dinner and then went to the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium for dessert. Omg if you’re in Orlando you have to go there! So many amazing desserts and dessert cocktails! I cannot wait to go back when I am not pregnant to try them! Before we headed out we stopped by the rooftop bar at Aventura for a mocktail and to catch the sunset! It has such an amazing view! I wore this geometric jumpsuit that is under $30! I sized up to accommodate the bump. I love that this jumpsuit has a high enough waistline to be bump friendly, since I have noticed most I try on the waist is too low so you have to pull it up high over the bump making it give you a wedgy ;) The joys of pregnancy ha! I finished the look off by pairing it with some ankle booties and crossbody. I hope you all have an amazing weekend! <3

Happy Hump Day babes! We are off to Colorado for a week and I cannot wait! I am ready to escape this hot Florida weather for some cooler air and gorgeous mountains! Tomorrow is my birthday so I thought it would be fun to put together a little birthday wishlist! I honestly have been in full baby mode I haven’t given much thought to things I want for my birthday, since I really don’t need anything but a girl always has a few things in the back of her mind! Like these Free People flats. I have the gold open toe version and I wear them allllll the time! They are so comfy and go with everything! The closed toe version would be perfect for fall and I absolutely love the color! I have been on a cardigan craze lately and this cardigan it too pretty! I absolutely love the color! I have been all about that loungewear life and I am loving these camo joggers! They look so comfy and you could even wear them to the store without getting weird stares! Happy Monday loves! I hope you all had an amazing weekend! Ours was super busy since we did Christmas mini sessions for clients all weekend and this mama is pooped! Thank goodness it is a short week and well be off to Colorado Wednesday for some R&R! We had a very short lived cold snap this weekend and it was the perfect time to bring out my new rust colored cardigan. I just love the color and the bell sleeves! It’s also super cozy! I paired it with a band tee that is actually my husbands, hello preggo problems, mine were a tad too short ;p, to give this look more of an edgy vibe. Then I threw on my last pair of non maternity jeans that actually fit me, although they are on their last leg haha!I actually bought these when I found out I was pregnant and sized up since they were super stretchy and I have gotten a ton of wear out of them since then!
